    I've never heard of a backstabber carp, but I do know there is a type of fly fishing fly called a 'backstabber carp fly'. Could this be what you are talking about? If you google backstabber carp fly you will see what I'm talking about.

    Be interesting to know if anyone else knows of a backstabber carp though!
