About Carp Fishing
Carp fishing has been around for hundreds of years, whether for food or sport and leisure. Carp originated from Eurasia and southeast Asia where they were used as ornamental fish, such as Koi and Goldfish.
Carp fishing is one of the largest and most popular forms of fishing worldwide, especially in Europe. Fishermen enjoy carp for their strong nature and hard fighting abilities. There are many different varieties but the most common are Common Carp, Mirror Carp, Crucian Carp, Grass Carp, and Ghost Carp. These species appear mostly in lakes, but are abundant in rivers also.
